The Senior BD Manager will play a central role in leading Business Development efforts in the Brazilian market, specially in Oil and Gas (O&G). This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in Business Development Management (BDM) and Client Account Management (CAM). The primary objective is to strengthen Vidyas' market position, expand the portfolio, and foster relationships with key local accounts.


Key Responsibilities:


1. *Business Intelligence:*

- Gather and analyze relevant market data, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.

- Stay updated on economic, political, and regulatory changes affecting the O&G, Mining and other potential market in Brazil.


2. *Customer Relationship Management:*

- Identify with key customers and prospects, establishing and nurturing strong relationships.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and align company offerings with customer needs.

- Anticipate customer needs and proactively exceed expectations to enhance overall customer experience.


3. *Strategic Planning and Monitoring:*

- Develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with company objectives.

- Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities.

- Regularly assess and adjust strategies to optimize results.

- Develop and maintain Sales reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular insights to leadership.


4. *Market Positioning:*

- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand customer behavior, potential partners, competitors, and industry assets.

- Develop and execute strategies for successful market positioning and sales outcomes.

- Implement competition management strategies to monitor and analyze competitor activities, assess market dynamics, and identify opportunities or threats.

- Develop and apply strategic pricing positioning, taking into account competitive pricing structures and market trends.

5. *Participation in Conferences and Events:*

- Actively engage in major industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.

- Represent Vidyas to promote brand visibility and establish connections with key stakeholders.


6. *Tactical and Team Management*

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts and product specialists, to develop compelling technical and commercial proposals.

- Ensure proposals align with customer needs and showcase the value proposition of products or services.

- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve individual and collective sales targets.

- Interact with Marketing team to improve Business Development with marketing support

- Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.

- Identify inefficiencies in business development processes and workflows, and enhance overall efficiency and productivity.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience in Business Development Management and Client Account Management.

- In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian Oil and Gas market.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven success in expanding market share and driving revenue growth.

- Track record in management of department and team.
